Patriotic words by great leaders ...............

“We have believed – and we do believe now – that freedom is indivisible, that peace is indivisible, that economic prosperity is indivisible” - Indira Gandhi

"In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed; it must be achieved." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

You see so many people, so many cultures and creeds in India that it almost looks like India itself has her own world. So much diversities that moving from one corner in India to another will make you to experience complete transform in your surroundings, yet with so many diversities, it shares common interest ie. respect and belief for the Nation !

SUCCESS OF INDIA AS WORLD'S LARGEST DEMOCRACY

Freedom in Mind,
Faith in Words,
Pride in our Heart,
Memo
ries in our Souls.
Let’s Salute the Nation on
...REPUBLIC DAY

In this post we ill be discussing about how we had framed this constitution and how and when did it come to command.
We will also be discussing the various issues faced by today and whether India, beyond doubt, is a democracy or not!

The Republic Day of India commemorates the date on which the Constitution of India came into force replacing the Government of India Act 1935 as the governing document of India on 26 January 1950.[1] The date 26 January was chosen to honor the memory of the [[ Purna Swaraj | declaration of independence]] of 1930. It is one of the three national holidays in India, and while the main parade, Republic Day Parade takes place at the Rajpath, in the national capital New Delhi, where the president views the parade, state capitals also have their state celebrations.
Although India obtained its independence on 15 August 1947, it did not yet have a permanent constitution; instead, its laws were based on the modified colonial Government of India Act 1935, and the country was a Dominion, with George VI as head of state and Earl Mountbatten as Governor General. On 28 August 1947, the Drafting Committee was appointed to draft a permanent constitution, with Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar as chairman. Unlike in Independence Day, Republic Day just celebrates the constitution.
A draft constitution was prepared by the committee and submitted to the Assembly on 4 November 1947. The Assembly met, in sessions open to public, for 166 days, spread over a period of 2 years, 11 months and 18 days before adopting the Constitution. After many deliberations and some modifications, the 308 members of the Assembly signed two hand-written copies of the document (one each in Hindi and English) on 24 January 1950. Two days later, the Constitution of India became the law of all the Indian lands. The Constitution of India came into effect only on 26 January 1950, 10.18 AM IST. Following elections on 21 January 1950, Rajendra Prasad was elected as the president of India. The Indian National Congress and other parties had been celebrating 26 January as a symbol of Independence, even before India actually became independent. Thus, signing the constitution on 26 January, to mark and respect 26 January and the freedom struggle and the freedom fighters.

Now onto some solid facts about India which makes us feel guilty while saying That India is always the best and will remain so forever

1- ) · Thirty-six per cent of Indians paid bribes to the legal system in 2006
· The estimated the amount paid by Indians as bribes to the legal system at about Rs 2,630 crore (Rs 26.30 billion).
· The majority of the bribes went to lawyers (61 per cent) followed by court officials (29 per cent) and middlemen (five per cent).
And this is just the legal system, which stands second to the Police Department. I guess the Police department bribery should be easily in the range of 4000 crores. If you take the macro view of the situation, corruption is hurting our economy more than anything else
2- ) The World Bank, which defines poverty as survival on less than $1.25 per day, says India reduced poverty from 60% of the populace to 42% between 1981 and 2005, but says the country still accounts for one-third of the world’s 1.4 billion poor people. 43% of Indian children are malnourished, a third of the world’s total. Over 35% of Indians are illiterate, and more than 20 million children are out of school.
THESE 2 ARE THE TWO MAJOR FACTS WHICH CAUSES DIS REPUTATION TO OUR MOTHER INDIA
POVERTY AND CORRUPTION!
AND NOW, HERE ARE SOME SIMPLE THINGS AND A BIT HARDER ONES, BY DOING WHICH YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE MISSION
A DREAM INDIA WITH NO TRIBULATIONS!

NOW LET US TAKE A JOURNEY THROUGH OUR FIRST POINT
It is not easy to define corruption. But in a narrow sense, it is mostly concerned with bribery and it takes several forms. Corruption exists all around and is rampant in our society. At one time bribe was paid for getting something illegal done but now a bribe is paid for getting something legal done at the right time.
The causes of corruption are many and complex, but here are some:
— Tolerance of people towards corruption
— Complete lack of intense public outcry
— Absence of strong public forum to oppose corruption
Election time is when corruption is at its peak. Big industries fund politicians to meet the high cost of election and ultimately to seek personal favours. Bribes to politicians buy influence and bribery by politicians buys votes in order to get elected.
Right to Information Act empowers the citizen to ask for information they want, barring confidential information of national security. This should be made use of by the general public as and when required.
Stringent action against corrupt officials will certainly serve as a deterrent. It may not be possible to root out corruption completely at all levels but it is possible to contain it within limits. Honest and dedication people in service and control over election expenses could be the most important prescription to combat corruptions.
Corruption has a corrosive impact on our economy. We have tolerated corruption this long. The time has come now to weed it. So try to avoid paying bribe for getting something legal done! Let us raise our voice against this corrupt system! we claim ourselves to be free but we are not free as long as we are under the clutches of this corrupt government! As long as the rich controls the poor! As long as we do not raise our voice!

NOW LET US TAKE A JOURNEY THROUGH OUR SECOND POINT
Poverty, today in India, is the one of the burning issues.
Poverty is state in which one cannot even buy food for himself and the major reasons for this situation are 2
ILLITERACY & UNEMPLOYMENT

We can even name it a cycle because poverty leads to illiteracy and it in turn leads to unemployment and again the result goes back to poverty!
There are many simple things that we could to help these poor
The first and foremost thing is that whenever you waste even a grain of rice, remember those poor children in the slums who dream about a piece of stale bread
When you stamp your new dress just because it is stained or maybe because it is not of your favorite color  ,think of those true children of mother India who wish for a piece of sack …………………….
If I want to continue then there will be no stop
So friends what I wanted to tell you was that, before wasting anything think about those living in slums dreaming for many things that we take for granted
By doing this you will be serving mother India with one of the best services ever!

AND FRIENDS I HAVE ONE LAST REQUEST TO YOU
TOMORROW IF YOU FIND A PIECE OF PAPER OF OUR INDIAN FLAG LYING IS A PLACE WHERE IT OUGHTN’T BE THEN PLEASE DO PICK IT UP!!
ONCE AGAIN WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY
JAI HIND !!

THIS IS WHAT WE GIVE TO OUR MOTHER INDIA !

APJ Abdul Kalam at Speech1
Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements?
We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them. Why?
We are the
first in milk production.

We are
number one in Remote sensing satellites.

We are the
second largest producer of wheat.

We are the
second largest producer of rice.

Look at Dr. Sudarshan , he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.. There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.
I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.
In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.. Why are we so NEGATIVE? Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T.Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.
Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is.. She replied: I want to live in a developed India . For her, you and I will have to build this developed India . You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke. The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.

YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU say, say and say.. What do YOU do about it?
Take a person on his way to Singapore . Give him a name - 'YOURS'. Give him a face - 'YOURS'. YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best. In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores. YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are.. You pay $5 (approx. Rs.. 60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity… In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU? YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai .. YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah.

YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds (Rs..650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.'YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, 'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.'
YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand ..
Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston ??? We are still talking of the same YOU. YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India ?

In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan ..
Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.

We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin. We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.
We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.

This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public.

When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse? 'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system?
What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away.
Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England . When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too….. I am echoing J. F. Kennedy's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians…..
'ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA WHAT AMERICA AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY'
Lets do what India needs from us.

Now let us discuss what change you think will these ministers bring to India

According to me, what is the difference if a card of corrupt ministers is shuffled it will still be called a card of corrupt ministers!!
It is a well known fact that 99% of politicians are in a race to earn as much money as possible while they are allowed to exploit and corrupt us!
NOT EARN BUT LOOT!!

They are looting us! Our hard earned money!
Many of us always say or at least wonder why our Indian economy is not the best? Why is India a weak nation [only fools think this!]?
Now here is a dialogue said by a Swiss bank director
Indians r poor but India is not a poor country.” Says one of the Swiss bank directors. He says that "280 lac crore of Indian money is deposited in Swiss banks” . If we had this money in India now it could have been used for 'tax less' budget for 30 yrs. Can give 60 crore jobs to all Indians. From any village to Delhi 4 lane roads. Forever free power supply to more than 500 social projects. Every citizen can get monthly 2000/- for 60 yrs. No need of World Bank & IMF loan. Think how our money is blocked by rich politicians. We have full right against corrupt politicians.

But friends, let us not forget this !
We have n right to blame them because
They come into this evil power only because we did not vote!!!!
Which ever government is in power is not going to bring any change as long as we are not aware!!!
Many people believe
“ India ka kuch nahin ho sakta
Mere vote karne ya na karne se kya farak padta hain ??
Yahan ka system hi karaab hain !
Mein kya kar sakta hoom??”

And here is your answer
The difference you make by casting your vote
IF YOU HAD CASTED VOTE THEN THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE HOSPITALS, PROPER ROADS AND INFRASTRUCTURE & POVERTY LEVEL WOULD HAVE COME DOWN!!!

In India 65% of illiterates and 75% of slum dwellers vote
65% of educated middle class which forms 40% of India’s population DO NOT VOTE!!

IN 1923 ONE VOTE GAVE ADOLF HITLER THE LEADERSHIP OF NAZI PARTY
IN 1875 ONE VOTE CHANGED FRANCE FROM A MONARCHY TO A REPUBLIC
IN 1776 ONE VOTE GAVE AMERICA THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTEAD OF GERMAN
ONE VOTE CAN MAKE HISTORY! WE ARE COUNTING ON CRORES!!

So friends , those who have crossed 18 , do caste your vote and that too not for a party that gives promises but to one that is capable of keeping up their promises and a one that can promise a ne India to us !
One which will never let India be called a corrupt country!!

What’s been happened has already happened
“Learn lessons from your experiences.”
So at least from next elections cast your vote and also be sure that it is for the right party!!
Let us save India as well as us ourselves!!
Jai Hind!

LET US FRAME OUR BRIGHT AND STEADY INDIAN ECONOMY......

You Can make a huge difference to the Indian Economy,
Our Economy is in ours hand
INDIAN economy is in a crisis.

Our country like many other ASIAN countries is undergoing a severe economic crunch.

Many INDIAN industries are closing down.

The INDIAN economy is in a crisis and if we do not take proper steps to control those,

we will be in a critical situation.

More than 30000 crore rupees of foreign exchange are being siphoned out of our country on products
such as cosmetics, snacks, tea, beverages...etc which are grown, produced and consumed here.

A cold drink that costs only 70/80 paisa to produce is sold for NINE rupees,

and a major chunk of profits from these are sent abroad.

This is a serious drain on INDIAN economy.
'COCA COLA 'and' SPRITE ' belong to the same multinational company, 'COCA COLA'?
Coke advertisements says ' JO CHAHO HOJAYE, COCACOLA ENJOY'
(Whatever the hell, let it happen, you drink coke)

What can you do?

You can consider some of the better alternatives to aerated drinks.
You can drink LEMON JUICE, FRESH FRUIT JUICES, CHILLED LASSI (SWEET OR SOUR),

BUTTER MILK, COCONUT WATER, JALJEERA, ENERJEE, MASALA, MILK..........
Everyone deserves a healthy drink, including you!

Over and above all this, economic sanctions have been imposed on us.

We have nothing against Multinational companies,

but to protect our own interests we request everybody to use INDIAN products only for next two years.

With the rise in petrol prices, if we do not do this,

the rupee will devalue further and we will end up paying much more for the same products in the near future.

What you can do about it?
1 . Buy only products manufactured by WHOLLY INDIAN COMPANIES.
2 . ENROLL as many people as possible for this cause.
Each individual should become a leader for this awareness.

This is the only way to save our country from severe economic crisis.

You don't need to give-up your lifestyle.

You just need to choose an alternate product.

All categories of products are available from WHOLLY INDIAN COMPANIES.

it is only in silence that one can rectify a wrong movement;
it is only in silence that one can be of help to somebody else...
Come on friends let us join our hands together and achieve this otherwise it will be of no use to regret after a long time when our economy could not be improved
I agree with the fact that even at the present our Indian economy is really strong but we can never predict the future
So friends I hope after seeing this post you will try the best to buy products produced in India …

OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM...

"Jana Gana Mana" - Just a thought for the National Anthem! How well do you know about it?

I have always wondered who is the "adhinayak" and "bharat bhagya vidhata",whose praise we are singing. I thought might be Motherland India ! Our current National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" is sung throughout the country.

Did you know the following about our national anthem, I didn't.

To begin with, India 's national anthem, Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, was written by Rabindranath Tagore in honour of King George V and the Queen of England when they visited India in 1919. To honour their visit Pandit Motilal Nehru had the five stanzas included, which are in praise of the King and Queen. (And most of us think it is in the praise of our great motherland!!!).In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that were under British rule, i.e. Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat ,Maratha etc.were mentioned. None of the princely states were recognized which are integral parts of India now Kashmir, Rajasthan,Andhra,Mysore or Kerala. Neither the Indian Ocean nor the Arabian Sea was included, since they were directly under Portuguese rule at that time.

The Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka implies that King George V is the lord of the masses and Bharata Bhagya Vidhata is "the bestower of good fortune". Following is a translation of the five stanzas that glorify the King:

First stanza: (Indian) People wake up remembering your good name and ask for your blessings and they sing your glories. (Tava shubha naame jaage; tava shubha aashish maage, gaaye tava jaya gaatha)

Second stanza: Around your throne people of all religions come and give their love and anxiously wait to hear your kind words.

Third stanza: Praise to the King for being the charioteer, for leading the ancient travelers beyond misery.

Fourth stanza: Drowned in the deep ignorance and suffering, poverty-stricken, unconscious country? Waiting for the wink of your eye and your mother's (the Queen's) true protection.

Fifth stanza: In your compassionate plans, the sleeping Bharat ( India ) will wake up. We bow down to your feet O' Queen, and glory to Rajeshwara (the King).

This whole poem does not indicate any love for the Motherland but depicts a bleak picture. When you sing Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, whom are you glorifying? Certainly not the Motherland. Is it God? The poem does not indicate that.It is time now to understand the original purpose and the implication of this, rather than blindly sing as has been done the past fifty years.Nehru chose the present national anthem as opposed to Vande Mataram because he thought that it would be easier for the band to play!!! It was an absurd reason but today for that matter bands have advanced and they can very well play any music. So they can as well play Vande Mataram, which is a far better composition in praise of our Dear Motherland - India Wake up, it's high time! Shouldn't Vande Mataram be our National Anthem ?

Come Join together to put Vande Mataram as our National Anthem.

JAI HIND !
